The Biggest Housing Secret Today
It was so sad today when a young couple that were first time home
buyers called me up after looking at one condo and said they think
they need to wait until next year to buy a condo. It saddened me, not
because I am a licensed broker with Coldwell Bankers, in Kent, WA.
Not because I would not receive a commission. It saddened me
because I knew that next year that nice young couple will not be able
to buy a 2 bedroom 1.5 bathroom condo anywhere in King Co. for
$60,000. Most likely not even for twice that amount will
they find such a deal.
I am always telling people this is the time to buy your home. If you ever thought you would one day like to own a home, this is the time. You have to strike when the iron is hot. And it will never again for the next 20 years be this hot. So, what am I talking about you say? Well, I am talking about the fact that for seven years the housing market has been severely depressed. Thousands of people lost their homes all over the United States. Meaning the banks repossessed homes left and right for seven years. Now they have so many homes that are REO's ( which is the name they give the properties they take back) that now they are offering people in default up to $3,000 and a chance to rent the property they are being evicted out of, just so they will stay in the home and not let it sit vacant, suffering breakins by the homeless, vandalism by youths or a den for drug abusers as has happened nation wide.
So whats the secret? The big secret is that the banks are desperate to get these homes off their books. So much so that they are selling them for pennies on the dollar. Every day I see at least three condos, two and three bedrooms, one and two bathrooms, selling for $40,000 to $78,000, and 3- 4 bedroom homes selling for $99,000. On top of that, FHA has come out with three different programs that I know of, to let you buy these condos and homes with absolutely no money down.

Weight Loss
Hello gang,
My name is Will Holman, and Ive been working out in the gym for the last 24 years.
Ive been training people for the last 4 years off and on, because I am also a Realtor by profession.
Now what I have found is that most people are looking to lose weight but just don`t know which diet to go on, or which exercise routine to fellow. Well, I am going to try to help you out with those decisions in this blog post.
First you must understand the basics, and that is calories in, calories out. those are the basic building blocks of any weight loss system.
Now, most people don`t like to count calorie, I know that, but the simple fact is that if you burn more calories then you consume you will lose weight. There is no guess work about that.
So now keeping that fact in mind, let me just say there are no magic foods, and you don`t need special diets to lose weight. In fact I will go so far as to say you can eat anything you want and still lose weight.
So now you are probably going oh yeah, right, this guy has lifted one too many dumbbells, well, its true, remember there is no magic foods.
There is no food that is worse then another, as far as weight loss is concern. All food has a calorie content and if you learn to manage that calorie content you can eat what you like. It is the quantity of the food you eat not the quality that will do you in.
Which again goes back to calorie management. So what are you saying Will? what I am saying is you can eat Ice cream sandwiches and still lose weight, as long as you only eat one a day, not 3 a day. Unless thats all you are going to eat that day(I don`t recommend it) .
Now there are two parts to this story the second part is you must burn calories each day as well.
so you must control how many calories you take in by deciding how much you will take in each day. Then decide how much you will burn each day, and you will be able to decide if you will lose or gain weight by those calculations.
So how do you know how to calculate your food plan each day? There are two ways, well there are probably more then two, but these are the most common two I know of.
1. is kinda expensive , it involves going to www.myapex.com and buying a body bug system for about $200.00. The body bug system will do everything for you keep track of how many calories you eat each day, and how many you burn.
2. And this is my favorite, is simply read labels before you eat it. the labels will tell you how many calories are in the products you consume. so you keep a little note book of what you are eating, along with the calories count from the label for the day. Add up the calorie count, so let say you ate 670 calories and its noon time. and lets say you eat another 1200 by bedtime ( that is including dinner) you are only going to eat 1870 calories, for that day. You know this because you plan out your meals, and count the calories ahead of time.
So in order to lose weight you only need to burn 500 more calories then you eat to lose weight quicly and safely so you only need to burn 2370 calories for that day. Sounds like a lot huh?
Guess what? the average person burns about 2000 carloies just going about their daily activities.
Now here is the good part, you decide what foods you will eat to make up 1870 calories, it can be whatever you like as long as you stick to the plan, you will lose weight.
In this particular plan all you have to do is go to the gym and burn 500 calories, which you can easily do in an hours time.
